Project Description

El Seif Engineering Contracting Company has successfully completed package (3) of the Princes Noura University for Women in Riyadh. The scope included all civil, structural, mechanical and electrical works for utility buildings, infrastructure, landscaping, site grading, utility tunnel, fly over bridges, roadworks, solid waste management, sewage treatment plant and 750,000 meters of services on an area of 8 million m2.

El Seif role also consisted of development, construction and testing & commissioning and operation and maintenance (two years contract) of all utility buildings including the world’s largest chiller plant consisting of 26 no’s of 2,000 ton chillers, infrastructure, hard and soft landscaping, a 4 km utility tunnel, (11) bridges, roads network of 53 km, a prime rated generator plant with 48 MW, solid waste management, sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 7,000 m3 / day, reversed osmosis plant with a capacity of 350 m3 / day, heating plant incorporating 8 no’s of hot boilers with a capacity of 12,000 BTU each, integrated with large solar plant 30,000 m3, 750,000 meters of utility network including drainage and sewer systems, firefighting, potable water network, domestic water network, and irrigation system network, (3) large data centers with a capacity of 130,000 users, data point fully system integrated with low current system, telephone, data, fire alarm, Building Management System (BMS), audio visual, CCTV and TV systems, etc…., (30) Km of complete fiber optic cable system, complete street lighting with all required substations and feed pillars, CCTV system and security equipment, and (2) 13.8 KV M\V switchgears, 25 MW each fed from the major 132/13.8 KV substation.
